The Oppo smartphone company has increased its manufacturing speed with the new infrastructure facility. Yes, the company itself announced that the brand Oppo said that it is now manufacturing a smartphone every three seconds at its 110-acre facility in Noida. The company said the factory has more than 1.2 million phones in stock at any point to ensure a seamless supply chain.
Elvis Zhou, President of Oppo India stated that “With the increasing popularity of Oppo smartphones, we will further build on our manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demand. Agility, innovation and creativity will be the keys to success for Oppo India. With over 10,000 strong employees, the factory produces more than 6 million phones a month during the season.
It is to be noted here that the facility is divided into four classes which include assembly, SMT (Surface Mount Technology), storage and supply warehouse. Super-machines in the SMT section can hold 37,000 micro components per hour, increasing production capacity. The manufacturing unit has 52 lines with 37 assembly stations and 20 test stations and can send hundreds of micro-parts for 200 smartphones within 10 minutes.
